Ritual Keeper
Privacy Policy for the Ritual Keeper app. This policy explains what data the app handles and how that data is used.
Overview
Ritual Keeper is designed to work primarily offline and to keep user data on the device. The app does not require account creation in order to use its core features.
Data stored by the app
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- ritual names and schedules
- time slots and notification preferences
- completion history and statistics derived from that history
- backup files that you choose to export
Notifications
Ritual Keeper can schedule local notifications on your device to remind you about your rituals. These notifications are generated from the data you enter in the app and are handled locally on the device.
Backup and restore
If you use the backup feature, the app creates a JSON file containing your app data. That file is only created when you choose to export it. You decide where to save it and whether to share it.
If you use restore, the app reads a backup file that you explicitly select through the system file picker.
Data sharing
Ritual Keeper does not use its own backend service to upload or store your routine data. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated before the change is released.
Your control
You can control your data by:
- editing or deleting rituals inside the app
- disabling local notifications in the app or system settings
- exporting your own backup file
- removing the app and its local data from your device
